Courtesan Confessions

Moment of pleasure;
Solitude of regret.
Sharing fake infatuation through hickeys.
Leaving bruises on my neck.

Intuition engulfs my aura.
Burning me Blue.
Feeling dead inside, I can see behind,
When she says her love is true.

Addicted to the brief validation.
Repeating "I love you" in my head.
Withdrawals keep me
Returning to the empty spot in her bed.

Costing me energy.
Spending my soul.
Modern day love,
Taking its toll.

"Gingivitis"

"Hammering rusty nails into my cavities.
Causing me to flinch from the pain.
Torturing myself with sweet candies,
I call memories inside my brain.

It hurts to smile, with inflammation in the cheeks.
Infatuations, are the plaque stains on my teeth.
Zombie breath from a grim tongue, so I can't speak.
Mummy mouth in the mornings, from decaying dreams.

I'd rather let blood flood my mouth
And spit my teeth out.
I like to focus on who I used to be
Instead of who I should be now... "

Rising Tides

Her lips are the water
Dripping on my skin.
Overflowing from my mouth,
Pouring over my rib cage.

Gravity has drawn us together. She stops the rainfall to whisper truths of her ocean. The two of us have never been closer, as she questions my hesitation to swim.

"I'm in fear of drowning in your love. Your lips alone, I would murder just to kiss. And I would pray your palms become the cuffs for my eternity."

It would be sin to indulge in these desires. Destined to repeat the history of Genesis. I want to follow this modern day Eve into the depths of her curiosity.

But I'm not a fool. I understand my sanity is worth more than answering her inquiry.

"As much as I love you, I would rather admire your beauty from the stars. It would be disastrous for us to be one."

And so as the sun pushes me out, I return home. The ocean and I will only remain close enough to kiss. I will never get the chance to drown myself in the clouds of the sea. I can only hope a meteoroid bursts through my chest, scattering pieces of my heart across her waters...

Gaslighted Love

"...Who am I?!
Am I not a soul worth seeing?
Much the same as your heart,
Deserving of blood, to keep beating.

Your heart, My spirit,
One in the same.
Both Poisoned, damaged-
Gaslighted with Methane.

So flames ignited from your heart,
Burning me Blue...
Hot from the embers of love.
Left with Romance Residue.

Yearning now, for another soul to sway and hold.
We'll dance on Heaven's Hilltops,
While skies unfold…

But perhaps a love is one
I don't deserve.
Unless, that love is to be blind;
To keep from seeing scars and burns!

For the last love to almost see me,
pumped your blood with CH4 and lit you with a match.
Saying space would do you good, never to come back!

SO YES! A BLIND LOVE SHOULD DO US JUST!
FOR A BLIND SOUL HAS BLIND LOVE BOTH OF US CAN TRUST!

No. Wait, this isn't right.
My sanity is leaving.

Here I am, knocking on the door to your soul;
But I'm afraid you won't answer.
I'm afraid you'll stand there, looking through that peephole, waiting for me to leave. Waiting without words, because you're afraid. But I'm afraid too. I fear that soft kisses, which feel like rose pedals, might one day stab us; like thorns from the bushes they grow. Leaving our lips bloody, and sore. I'm afraid our romance will become routine. Our warm naked bodies will become too familiar with each other. We will collide, and start to freeze. So we'll seek the warm embrace of another. I'm afraid that the thrill we give each other is going to fade. You'll no longer be impressed by the effort I put into seducing you. So I'll stop trying...
I'm scared. But here I am, knocking on the door to your soul. Because I know, the love I have to offer is genuine. It's raw, and it's real. So now that you've seen visions of how our love could start, will you let me in and never let it end?

Update: Made this small piece of music last night. I have been writing for myself these past months. I hope to post for you guys soon. Still trying to be more creative. It's a process, and I'm just taking my time enjoying life.

Before I Leave the Beach

"My feet are buried in the sand. Sitting back, weight on hands.
Summer air tastes of Malibu Rum. Off in the distance, ocean seduces the sun.
His face is blush, the sky turns red. Underneath Horizon covers, they sneak off to bed.
Rubies shimmer when the ocean waves. Saying goodbye, it's time for change.
The rising tide washes the heels of my feet. One last look, Before I Leave the Beach."
